After reading both Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings, I was trying to figure out why this was on the adult shelf and not in the YA section. Well on my last trip to the library to pick up Charmed Thirds, I found out that the books are actually on both shelves. After thinking about it for quite some time I realized they could be classified as both because they follow Jessica through her high school, college and post college life so it captures all audiences. I have enjoyed following Jessica's triumphs and tribulates through high school and am looking forward to seeing what she gets in to next in Charmed Thirds.

Never Enough - Joe McGinniss

Awhile back I saw 'The Two Mr. Kissels' on Lifetime not realizing it was a true story. I then found this book by Joe McGinniss (who's writing I fell in love with after reading 'Fatal Vision') and decided to get the REAL story. I usually don't like reading a book after seeing a movie because the suspense is gone, however I feel true crime is a little different. Every movie, book, article etc written will have their own spin. I found that the book was (obviously) more detailed than the movie. The biggest difference I noticed was the movie spent quite a bit of time on both Robert and Andrew whereas the book spent most of the time focusing on Rob. All in all i'd say this was another great book by Joe McGinniss. i would recommend it to anyone.

Another challenge

Hmm....this might be a good idea. The shelves are overflowing. Will have to look at them tonight and add to the list tomorrow

So with 2010 just around the corner, I've decided to try to lessen the weight on my bookshelves, by reading books from my shelves, and then passing the books on to someone else: a friend, relative, the library, used book store, swap them, just as long as the book leaves my house once it has been read.
